My Relationship with Beverly Osu Was a Christian relationship- Terry G

The rumour of ‘Pass me your Love’ crooner, Terry G and actress and model, Beverly Osu has refused to go down no matter how the pair tries to shut it down. Terry G who is trying to save face and further embarrassment over this matter has decided to clear himself from the news.
He denies “That is a false notion; I was not involved in any amorous relationship with Beverly Osu.” He insisted that he cannot marry a lady who drinks and smokes like him “How can you break up with or break the heart of someone you were never in a relationship with in the first instance?”
He said they are not in any relationship “We were not in any kind of love relationship; She is my sister in the Lord, I am her Christian brother and she is my Christian sister. It was a Christian relationship,” Terry G said, adding that he was still in touch with the model, “but only as a member of my church.”
We would want to hear from Beverly too to know if this rumour is based on a Christian lifestyle. We would be glad if this agape love between them helps them find deeper peace in their lives.

Eucharia Anunobi Under Fire Over Pastor's s3x Scandal

All seems not to be well with popular controversial actress turned Evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, following the scandal that rocked the general overseer of Fresh Oil Ministry, Apostle Psalm Okpe, over the death of a popular female gospel singer who allegedly died in a hotel room, after honouring an invitation from the apostle.
The light skinned actress has been under attack by fans over the development. This is because the accused apostle is said to not only be the veteran actress’ pastor but he was also the one who ordained her as an evangelist.
However, Ms Anunobi has remained silent over the development. She neither disassociated herself with the apostle nor rose to his defenses.
The case is reportedly said to be in police custody although some parties alleged some powerful men of God whom the apostle is very close to have intervened.

The crime was allegedly committed at Moniya in Akinyele Local Government Area of the state. Though the suspect, a herbalist, denied the incest allegation, saying he was being held for a crime he did not commit, the confessions of the four girls took many people at the state police headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan by surprise as they narrated how the father had sex with them at different times. While parading the suspect, identified as Tajudeen Awoniyi, Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Muhammed Katsina, said the accused person had carnal knowledge of his own daughters whenever he was drunk. The commissioner alleged that the suspect would give black soap to the other two nieces before having sexual intercourse with them one after the other. Speaking with newsmen yesterday, one of the victims (names withheld), said: “My sister and I are the nieces to Tajudeen Awoniyi. “His daughters came to our house and asked us to follow them to their place. On getting there, her father told us he would give us soap by midnight which we must use to bathe. “Around 1a.m., he woke me up, gave me a black soap and asked me to go and take my bath. After taking my bath, I went to him and he placed something under his tongue and asked me to sleep on a bench. “He had sex with me. Afterwards, I was bleeding and he asked me to go to bed. By morning, he sent my sister and me out of his house.” The sister, who is about 16 years old, corroborated the story, saying “after taking my bath at night, he tied my mouth with cloth so that people would not hear me when I cried. “He had sex with me afterwards and by morning he sent me out of his house.” He’s been sleeping with me since last year—Daughter One of his daughters also said: “My father has been sleeping with me since last year. The next day as I was about to pray around 6:30a.m., my brother showed up. “I was scared because I usually get scared when I see him since the day he threatened my mother with cutlass to release his children for him when they were still little. “So he told me that my daughters slept in his place and he had asked them to go back the next day. It was not until the third day that I saw my daughters. Someone staying around brought them home. “One of them was holding her tummy. I later took them to the hospital where we found out about the incident and I had to call the police.” The victims, who dared their father and told the police the whole story, further explained that they kept sealed lips for fear of being beaten by the herbalist.

Which Of This Response Do You Get After Having Sex With Your Wife?

A. Wife Not Happy!

OR

B. Wife Very Happy!!
I used to be in the category A above but
an incident happened that
finally changed my story:
It was a very cool Monday morning at work
and I just receive a letter of transfer to
Niger state, Minna to be precise,

I had to go for two days training to
boost my departmental knowledge.

I decide to spend the night at
one of my old friend's place
whose name is Tony,
so I can relax well and
prepare for the training

I have already called him immediately
my flight took off, so we arrange to
meet at the airport.

We meant exactly as arranged,
exchange greetings and drove
straight to his house.

In the evening we sat in his
balcony to chat about old times
and take few drinks.
Tony whom we nicknamed Mr malt back
then in school brought one malt
for himself and send someone
to go get red wine for me.

I asked him

"So Tony you still take malt Up till now,
guy you will never change at all , hope
it doesn't affect your performance
on bed because all this drinks are
just too sugary for my liking"

He laugh and said

"No it doesn't affect
me at all"

We took some drinks, his wife
brought some fufu and Egusi soup,
we ate and later I left for my room

During the night I came to the parlour
to read and watch Tv because I was
not feeling sleepy at all

I was just 5 minute into the parlour
when I start hearing some noise
from Tony's bedroom

I move closer to check what is happening
and the noise turn to a mild noise

I move closer once more and the noise
turn to moaning then I realize
my friend and his wife must
be having a good time.

So I went back to my sit,
put my head phones on and
loud the music and act
as if nothing happened

Like 20 minute later I decide to
remove my head phone, so I
can read some few magazine
I saw in the parlour while
waiting for sleep to come

To my greatest surprise I could
still hear the moaning sound
of Tony's wife coming from
their bedroom

I was shocked!
 Not because of the sound
but because Tony was
still keeping it real
like a man after
good 20 minute

I decided to stay mute and
see when this will end

This action went on till after
43 minute before the moaning
sound stopped

I actually timed it because I
was so surprised that there
are still men who can last
so much up to 43 minute
on bed with a woman
before they cum
It was obvious my friend's
wife was really enjoy it

This really gave me sleepless night
because even me that usually think
am very energetic on bed, I have
never last that long

So how can Tony of all people
be better than me on bed.

I was thinking about it till
I slept off.
The following morning immediately
I woke up I saw Tony already
dressing up for work

I didn't know how to start the
issue so we just greet and
I left to take my bath

Seeing the mood I was
Tony asked me
"What is wrong with you man
you look so worried"

So I spill the beans and ask

Oh boy how on earth did you get
so much energy to do what you
did last night even when you
know am around, you want me
to be missing my wife isn't?

He laugh and told me he purposely
did it because he knew I will
hear the noise

He said when real men are having
great time with their wife the
woman has no choice than
to moan like a baby
He went further to say
"My wife thought you were
asleep so she was moaning
as usual, as if no one is
inside the house except
the both of us"
He further said
"Brother sometimes I do go
up to 50 - 60 minute plus
before I cum"
I interrupt him immediately

"Well Tony leave story please tell me
how you get this energy to last
so long on bed like this"

Then he went inside his room
and brought out his secret
Lo and behold
It was

Suspected killers of Gen. Shuwa held

The Army confirmed yesterday the arrest of suspected killers of Civil War hero Gen. Mohammed Shuwa (rtd).
The first General Officer Commanding (GOC)  1 Division, which he also commanded during the war, was shot dead in Maiduguri on November 2, 2012.
Acting Director of Army Public Relations Col. Sani Usman yesterday said officials of the Military Intelligence arrested the suspects after tracking them down in Kano. They were being followed from Maiduguri.
Parading the suspects at the Brigade Headquarters in Kano, Brigade Commander Brig.-Gen. Hamisu Hassan said their arrest followed sustained intelligence operation.
The suspected Boko Haram kingpins were picked up in Hotoro Quarters of the Kano metropolis.
Gen. Hassan said Ali Mohammed (a.k.a Amir) 25, was a preacher for the late Mohammadu Yusuf sect in Baga (Borno State) and was reported to have led his followers to reinforce Boko Haram fighters during their battle with security agencies that led to the defeat of their leader, Mohammed Yusuf in 2009. He is described as a strong accomplice of the suspected killer of the late Gen. Shuwa.
According to the brigade Commander , the two suspected Boko Haram members were arrested on April 30, 2016 and May 1, 2016 in Hotoro quarters by soldiers.
He said preliminary investigations revealed that Mohammed Sani Nafiu, 35, aided the terrorist, who killed the late Gen. Shuwa (rtd).
Items recovered from Ali Mohammed are: a black Volkswagen Golf car, with registration number, Delta-GWK 775 PP. ONE GSM phone and N20, 100 cash.
One GSM phone handset and N300 were recovered from Mohammed Sani Nafiu.
Gen. Hassan said the suspects are assisting the investigative team to ascertain their real status in the Boko Haram terrorist organisation.
” I want to use this medium to reiterate the stance of Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen. Tukur Buratai, in ridding the Nigerian territory of Boko Haram terrorists.
” I am also warning the fleeing terrorists that the armed forces are not relenting in their efforts to crush them.”

Inside a forgotten town

Without electricity, hospital, paved road or healthy water, Ungwar Maikanti near Kaduna city is no better than a Stone Age settlement, reports TONY AKOWE
Every community has its well-off class. In Ungwar Maikanti, just 25 minutes away from Kaduna metropolis, the richest man owns a motorcycle. Its residents enjoy the bliss only the Stone Age offers.
Women deliver their babies at home unaided. There is no medical personnel in sight. Only a lorry that probably comes to get firewood from the community plies the road into Ungwar Maikanti. There is no potable water, nor hospital, nor electricity. The only school there has never received any form of government attention since the residents built it in 1997.
Located West of Rigasa in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, the community, which is surrounded by Ungwar Daudu, Kwati and Rigar Fulani, is always cut off from other communities and the state capital for about two months during the rainy season because the only road to the state capital is always flooded.
Aliyu Bala, the 70-year-old head of the community, said, “Our town usually gets cut off for about two months from other towns and villages around this area”.
Pa Bala added that the predominantly Gbagyi farming community has about 3000 inhabitants but has been neglected over the years by successive governments.
He said, “We have been here for centuries because my parents and forefathers spent their lives here. We have no social amenities in these communities. No road, no water, no hospital, even the school here was built with mud by our people without government support. We are farmers but we cannot transport out farm produce to nearby markets because of bad road. The water we drink here is so bad that it causes sickness to our people.”
Investigations by The Nation revealed that the residents drink water from a pond which is located far from them. Women and children wake up early in the morning to get water which is not drinkable from the pond. Women trek a distance to fetch water from the pond.
One of the residents of the community, Talatu Iliya said the water from the pond smells and is sometimes covered by dry leaves, “but that is what we use to cook because we have no choice”, she lamented, adding, their children complain of frequent stomach ache and also suffer from cholera.
She said, “You can see the kind of water we drink. Even dogs wouldn’t drink from the pond. The water smells and that is what we use to cook our food”.
There is only one water well in the village said to have been dug by a white lady who visited the community years back. But the people hardly get water from it. Women in the community complain that they can only get water from the well very early in the morning and that in most cases, they can hardly fetch more than a bucket of water from it. They have however decided to reserve the water in the well for the primary school children who attend the community primary school. They want government intervention by constructing a borehole for them to get water for their use.
Another major problem confronting this community is lack of health facilities. Pregnant women in the community do not attend antenatal because of lack of a health centre.
Elizabeth Jacob who identified herself as one of the women leaders in the community, said they have lost several women due to complications from childbirth and other pregnancy-related ailments.
She said: “We’ve lost scores of women during pregnancy and childbirth, because we don’t have any place to take them for medical care if the pregnancy came with complications. Our women give birth at home without support from any birth attendant. We only give them herbs to drink”.
One of the women who died from complications, was identified simply as Asabe. She was said to be in labour for several hours but without medical help, she passed on.
Nobody owns a car in the community; only one person ows a motorbike.
It is only in Rigassa that they can access  a primary health care centre. But it was night and at that time, the lorry was nowhere to be found.
Two weeks after Asabe’s death, another woman and mother of four identified as Lami lost a child due to complications during childbirth.
In the area of education, The Nation was informed that even the local government has never come to the aid of the only primary school in the area built through community effort. It was learnt that over 80 percent of the youth in the community have not gone beyond primary school level. One of Youth Leaders in the community, Jacob Maiunguwa said “Our youth have not gone beyond primary school which is why they end up unemployed. Some of them joined their parents in farming, but during dry season they become idle, doing nothing”. Chairman of School Based Management Committee (SBMC) Peter Alkali said the only school in the village has not received any learning material from both local and state governments since it was built by the community in 1997. He said: “the School lacks chairs and other teaching materials the pupils miss classes during rainy season, because the only route linking the community with others get flooded and so it’s not safe for them to attend classes”.
A block of classroom constructed in the area was said to have collapsed due to failure by Igabi local government authority to roof the building.
But the people are still hopeful that with the promise to revamp health facilities and construct new ones across the state, the stage government will remember them and build a health centre for them.
They are also hopeful that the Senator representing them in the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani will come to their aid and provide them a functional borehole and clinic.

How My Pastor Raped Me - 12-Year-Old Girl's Story

A12-year-old grl, Ijeoma Mbiaka narrated how she fell victim to her pastor's orchestrated plan.

The girl claimed the pastor of her church, Rhema Ministries  in Oyeagu Abagana in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, Rev Sampson Otisi allegedly lured her to a hotel, under the pretence of conducting deliverance for her but ended up raping her all through the night.

Ijeoma, who is said to have hearing problems hearing claimed she went to the church to seek prayers from the pastor so that she could hear loudly again.
However, she said she was lured to the hotel and raped from 9 pm to the next morning and dumped in the hotel room, where she cried until hotel attendants rescued her.

Ijeoma who spoke at the Magistrate Court Abagana said she prayed all night reminding the pastor of the consequence of his act, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
The victim came to the court aided as a result of the injuries she sustained during the alleged act.
According to her, “It started on a Tuesday when I went to the church for prayers. I have not been hearing clearly with my ears for sometime, so I went to the pastor for prayers and when I told him my problem, he said I should stay behind that he will pray for me after everyone has gone”.

She continued that, “After the session that day, he called me to the backyard and started praying for me. He poured anointing oil into my ear and mouth. He now ordered me to remove my dress and he poured some on my tummy and started massaging it. After sometime, he started putting his hand inside(Vagina), to which I objected. He said he will leave me if I do not want him to pray for me”.
Ijeoma narrated that as usual the pastor had asked her to stay behind, that he will conduct a special prayer for her and her hearing will be okay again.
“After the service, only he and his friend were left, he said he will take me to the house and pray for me, but when I objected and told him that my father will kill me, he said I should not mind that nothing will happen to me.
“He took me to a hotel, ran upstairs and came back and ordered me and his friend to come with him. He took us up and put his friend in another room and took me to a separate room. He ordered food for me and hot drink, to which I objected. He said the drink was part of the deliverance that I had to drink it. He forced it down my throat and when I started to feel sleepy he undressed me and inserted his ‘something’ into me; then he started pushing it in and pushing out.

“Even when blood was gushing out of me, he continued to push the ‘thing’ inside. I tried shouting but he covered my mouth, when I could not help myself, I started praying and telling him of the implication of what he was doing to me before God but he kept on”.
She said she was only freed the next morning when she regained consciousness and started banging the door of the hotel room asking for assistance.
Though Ijeoma said she complained to her mum when she got back after the first incident, her mum, Mrs Ifeoma who also spoke to DailyPost said she confronted the pastor the next day and he denied putting his hand under the girls pant, claiming he was only praying for her; a defense which led the gullible woman to accept that the pastor meant well.

She stated that the truth, however, dawned on her on the following Tuesday when her daughter went to the same church and failed to return home.
“I thought she had been kidnapped, in fact I believe this is also kidnap”, she told our reporter.
A copy of medical report issued to her by the Chief Medical Officer of Enugu Ukwu General Hospital, Dr J.O Akuka which her parents showed to our reporter revealed that she sustained bruises, and a torn hymen.
This showed that there was a penetration in her vagina.
Ijeoma’s father pleaded with the relevant authorities to help her find justice for her innocent daughter who was violated by a man she trusted to be a Man of God, as the matter is currently before a Magistrate court in Abagana.

He told our reporter that the pastor had allegedly offered him N500, 000 to keep sealed lips, an offer he rejected, but expressed fears that the pastor may use the money to subvert justice.
The pastor, Rev Otisi, who is the senior pastor of a branch of Rhema Church in Abagana refused to make comments when he was approached.
His counsel, Barr CC Achi, however, said that the matter was only being engineered by unseen hands from behind as his client occupied a land that is in dispute.

“The issue here is land dispute, but these people are being used by someone who is in tussle over a piece of land with our client. On a separate allegation of being previously charged with the rape of 8-year-old in his church, the lawyer said it was not true, adding that it was meant to paint his client in bad light.

17 Year Old Nigerian Girl Allegedly Raped and Impregnated By Her Lebanese Boss

Roda T who worked as a maid for professional Lebanese chef Hussein in his Allen Avenue residence has narrated how she was raped twice by her Hussein.
I started working with the man as a maid immediately I came to Lagos. He agreed to pay me N10,000 monthly as my salary. When I packed into the house, my boss was not around but he came back two days later from his work place.
On this particular day, my boss was about to leave the house when his brother asked me to go and meet him and collect some money to purchase food items for the house. I knocked on his door, he answered and asked me to come inside. When I entered, I told him that his brother asked me to collect money to purchase food items. He said okay and got up from where he was sitting, and pretended as if he wanted to get the money before he grabbed me forcefully. I struggled with him and was shouting but he over powered me and raped me.
The following month when I discovered that I had missed my monthly cycle, I informed him about it but instead of finding solution to it, he raped me a second time. I then kept disturbing him about the growing pregnancy. What he did was to send me to a nearby chemist with a prescription but the attendant refused to attend to me without his presence. He later went with me and bought some drugs which he asked me to take to abort the pregnancy. I took the drugs but nothing happened. After some days, he bought another set of drugs which I took, yet, nothing happened. I then became very worried and was disturbing him to find a solution to the problem he caused. That was when he started threatening me and later sacked me after paying me N19,000. I was so afraid that when I went back to my brother who brought me to Lagos, I didn’t tell him that I was pregnant for my boss. I was just praying that the pregnancy will just disappear but it did not. Unknown to my brother that I was pregnant, he got me another job where I worked for four months as a maid before my new employer discovered that I was pregnant and told my brother.
Speaking to Crime Guard, Rhoda’s brother Joshua, said,
It was January this year that we discovered she was pregnant. Her stomach was still flat and we had to take her for scan. It was then she revealed that her former boss, Hussein, was responsible for her pregnancy. So, we went to Hussein’s house to confront him but he denied being responsible for the pregnancy. We therefore reported the case to the Immigration Department in Ikeja and on February 9, 2016, he was arrested but was later released
From immigration department, my sister was taken to the National Agency For The Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP. Initially, officials of NAPTIP said she would be with them until she delivers but last week, officials of the agency came and asked me to come and take my sister back as she will soon deliver. The pressure and threats from NAPTIP became too much to the extent that I don’t know whether they are protecting the interest of my sister who was abused by a foreigner or that of the foreigner.
The next morning, one Hassan called claiming to be the nephew of Hussein. He said his sister informed him of our visit to his residence the previous day. According to him, whatever happened between his Hussein and Roda was a mistake and that they were doing everything within to resolve the issue while Hussein has agreed to take care of Roda until she gives birth. He however added that a DNA will be carried out to determine the paternity of the baby but the family will not refuse to take responsibility.
When Vanguard visited the residence of the Hussein in Ikeja, he was not around but a lady in the house promised to inform him about their visit and get back to them.
Vanguard also visited the Ikeja Zonal Office of NAPTIP but could not meet the Director as he was said to have traveled out of the state for official duty. A lady who said she was the Public Relations Officer told them that only the Director was authorized to speak to the press on the issue and promised to get back to them when the Director gets back, but since then, her contacts have been unreachable according toVanguard.

THE CRACK WALLS OF NDOKWA NATION.

THE CRACK WALLS OF NDOKWA NATION.

 By Ifeanyi Nwapanyi.

From time immemorial, the people of Ndokwa nation have lived as one inseparable whole, fully exercising the romance of brotherly love and uninterrupted serenity. From Aboh to utagba unor, back to Obiaruku to Abbi and Utagba Ogbe, love permeated geographical boundaries and we were the envy of the world.
Unfortunately, this genealogical tree is being presently cut by a leader who should be packing sand round the tree to strengthen the roots. Hon. Friday Osanebi is one leader whose pace of acceleration in the political landscape of Ndokwa nation is a common knowledge.

No one has however ever stood on his way as a result of pockets of philantrophic gestures attributed to his name. He has however thread on the tail of the chameleon with his recent shameful and degrading role in the feud between Kwale and Beneku both in Ndokwa nation.
Instead of negotiating for peace, he has succeeded in putting a knife on the things that held us together and celebrating the falling apart of a nation. He gave a directve of recent barring Kwale people from operating shops or businesses in Beneku unless they resided there.
What sort of draconian directive could this be from a leader? What a slap on his office? What a reversal of a responsibility?

As if this was not enough, he has directed the shutting down of Pontu, the only access to these communities from Kwale. Where then is the morality in his political philosophy? I urge him to thread with caution, understand his age by revisiting his birth certificate, thank God for his stars and be grateful and respectful to the whole Ndokwa Nation.
Finally, I leave him with the Chinese apophthegm which urges that sofily sofily catchee monkey!

S.E. VOL. XXV NO. 26 TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 2016 SPECIAL EDITION DELSU LECTURER BRUTALIZED BY FRSC OFFICIA

S.E. VOL. XXV NO. 26 TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 2016
SPECIAL EDITION
DELSU LECTURER BRUTALIZED BY FRSC OFFICIALS
Nigerians came to the conclusion long ago that some uniformed officials have metamorphosed from their roles as law enforcement agents into sadistic elements who delight in brutalizing the Nigerian public. The Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC) which from available evidence has become Federal Roads ‘Swagger’ Commission has lately joined the league of uniformed men who brutalize Nigerians.
What played out between the FRSC men and Dr. Williams Obukohwo Odunvbu, a lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 was the peak of barbarism. Led by one B. C. Ojialor the Unit Commander at Ebedei in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, the FRSC men beat the helpless medical doctor and university lecturer to a pulp in the presence of his sister-in-law and her two children who were with him in the car, on the allegation of possessing a fake drivers license.
Dr. Odunvbu committed no offence. He obeyed the FRSC officials by stopping when he was flagged down. He presented all the items demanded of him and when it was clear that he was a law abiding citizen, the FRSC men alleged that his drivers license was fake as it is usual for them to say in such circumstance. Dr. Odunvbu’s explanation that he procured the license from the FRSC office fell on deaf ears. The FRSC macho men attempted to violently seize the car key and in the process, fifteen of them in the presence of the unit commander Ojialor descended on the helpless lecturer with blows, cudgels and any other available object. Sympathizers at the scene confirmed that the FRSC men boasted that they would have shot Dr. Odunvbu if they had guns on them. Dr. Odunvbu sustained a deep cut in the head and was left to bleed on the ground while the FRSC men sped off to Umutu Police Station to lodge a false complaint against him. It was good Samaritans who then took the victim of FRSC brutality to the General hospital at Umutu.
The management of the Delta State Universty, Abraka, wishes to bring to the attention of the FRSC high command, the federal and state governments, the impunity and recklessness with which the FRSC men carry out their duties on the stretch covering Umutu, Obiaruku to Abraka. The FRSC men have constituted themselves into a menace to the general public and the case of Dr. Odunvbu is just one out of many as some other DELSU staff have been harassed in the past even in worst manner.  No law abiding citizen deserves to be so treated how much more a renowned medical doctor and university lecturer in the mould of Dr. Odunvbu.
The management of the university is very unhappy over this unfortunate and sadistic occurrence. It unequivocally calls on higher authorities in the FRSC command chain to rein in the offending officials who are giving the commission a bad name by violently denigrating our humanity. The university is calling for a thorough investigation of the matter and it will not hesitate to deploy every legal means within the ambit of the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to seek redress and protect its staff and students from highhanded FRSC officials.
VICE-CHANCELLOR COMMISSIONS WATER PROJECT IN SMALL MARKET: DONATE GENERATING SET
Abraka Community was agog on Friday, April 1, 2016 as the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Victor F. Peretomode commissioned a water project built by his Administration to ease the market women’s burden in the small market area, opposite Site II small gate.
Speaking during the ceremony the President General of Oruarivie Abraka Kingdom, Dr. Tedwin Emudainohwo, thanked the Vice-Chancellor, for his kind gesture. He noted that the gesture from the University Administration was the first of its kind in the community. He also said that they will ensure that the water project is put into judicious use. He promised that the 2.5 KVA generator will not be misused.
The market women who could not hide their joy during the commissioning jumped and danced to various traditional tunes. They also prayed God to bless the Vice-Chancellor and his management team for their good deeds.
The high point of the ceremony was the commissioning of the water project to the Glory of God by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Peretomode.  He urged them to put the water project to judicious use.  On a lighter note, the Vice-Chancellor asked them to put on the generator also provided to aid the pumping of water constantly in case of power outage. WORK ATTITUDE OF STAFF
This is to intimate members of staff that the information at the disposal of the University Management indicates that most staff of the University have poor attitude to work, especially as Heads of Departments do not check staff under their supervision. Consequently, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Victor F. Peretomode has directed as follows:

1.       that all Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, Co-ordinators, Heads of Divisions and Heads of Units should carry out their duties with the seriousness it deserves.

2.       that all Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, Co-coordinators, Heads of Divisions and Heads of Units should carry out routine inspection on their staff.

3.       that attendance registers must be provided in all Faculties, Directorates, Departments, Division and Units for Non Teaching Staff to sign in and sign out every work day.

4.       that all every Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, Coordinators, Heads of Divisions or Heads of Units is expected to report formally to the Registrar the case of any employee who absents his or herself from work without permission for more than a day.

5.       that all Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, Coordinators, Heads of Divisions or Heads of Units who refuses or fails to report an erring staff as in (4) above will have himself or herself to blame for the significant consequences that would follow his or her action or inaction.
PERFORMANCE OF SECRETARIAL STAFF
Information also at the disposal of the University Management indicates that the memos, letters and other documents which emanate from some departments are filled with typographical errors. The information also indicates that the errors were not usually in the manuscripts given to the secretarial staff (secretaries/typists/computer operators) to type, but came in the process of the secretaries/typists/computer operators typing from the manuscripts they were given. It is pertinent to point out these typographical errors are a big source of embarrassment to the University. Consequently, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Victor F. Peretomode, has directed that all secretariat staff (secretaries, typists and computer operators) should improve on their performance by improving on themselves and that, failure to improve on their competence will sooner not be tolerated.
Accordingly, all secretaries/typists/computer operators are hereby advised to take note of the aforementioned directives of Management for prompt compliance.
